E-Don SIM Pro Introduces an Improved 98-inch Interactive 3D Smart Board at FCET Ekiadolor

Benin City – July 28, 2026

The Federal College of Education (Technical), Ekiadolor, Benin City, Edo State, on July 21, 2026, hosted officials of E-Don SIM Pro for an interactive session on the use of digital technology to enhance teaching and learning.

The programme, held at the College Conference Room, featured the introduction and demonstration of an improved 98-inch interactive 3D Smart Board designed to support academic programmes, curriculum delivery, research, training, and digital content delivery.

The initiative is part of the Federal Government's efforts, through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), in partnership with E-Don SIM Pro and the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), to promote digital transformation in the education sector.

Speaking at the event, the National Coordinator of the E-Don Initiative, Dr. Idonuagbe Akogun, said the innovation was designed to make teaching and learning more interactive, convenient, and technologically advanced.

The Provost of the College, Dr. Lawrence Aluede Osagiede, welcomed the team and expressed appreciation for the innovation. He assured staff that regular training would be organised to equip lecturers with the skills required to effectively utilise the 3D Smart Board.

Dr. Osagiede commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, TETFund, and the NCCE Executive Secretary, Dr. Hannah Ajala, for their efforts towards advancing digital education and transforming teaching and learning in Colleges of Education.

Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor on Student Affairs and Mobilisation, Hon. Victor U. Akande, who represented Governor Monday Okpebholo, reaffirmed the State Government's commitment to educational development and expressed support for the initiative.

The Dean of Students, Dr. Mrs. Margaret Osahon, appreciated the Federal Government and TETFund for the initiative and pledged the commitment of staff to embracing digital innovations.
