COEASU SOUTH-SOUTH ZONE COMMENDS PROVOST DR. LAWRENCE OSAGIEDE’S COMMITMENT TO STAFF WELFARE

The South-South Zone of the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) has commended the Provost of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Ekiadolor, Dr. Lawrence Aluede Osagiede, for his commitment to staff welfare and the development of the College. The commendation was made during a courtesy visit by the South-South Zone leadership of COEASU to the Provost.

Led by the South-South Zonal Coordinator, Comrade Dr. Samuel Azugbene, and the National Treasurer, Comrade Dr. Anashie Akpanke, the delegation was received by the Provost alongside the Chairman of COEASU Ekiadolor Chapter, Comrade Joshua Bisong, and his executive members.

The visit featured warm exchanges, prayers for the success of the Provost's tenure, the presentation of a gift to the Provost by the Zonal Coordinator and a solidarity song by the union.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Osagiede expressed appreciation to the COEASU leadership for the gesture and reaffirmed his commitment to working with staff and the union to promote the progress and stability of the College.

He commended Comrade Joshua Bisong and his executive members for their cooperation and encouraged the South-South Zone leadership to build stronger partnerships with relevant government stakeholders in support of educational development.

The Bursar, Dr. Alfred Umar Akoku, also joined the Provost in welcoming the delegation and supporting the engagement.

As a further gesture of goodwill, the Provost and the Bursar presented cash gifts to the union delegation.

The visit ended on a cordial note, with the Provost appreciating Comrade Dr. Samuel Azugbene and Comrade Dr. Anashie Akpanke for leading the delegation and expressing his appreciation to Comrade Joshua Bisong and his executive members for their continued cooperation.

The visit highlights the growing spirit of partnership, mutual understanding and commitment to staff welfare and institutional development at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Ekiadolor.
