Admission Requirement

GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION TO N.C.E PROGRAMME

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Interested Candidates must achieve an acceptable level of performance at the College selection and interview in addition with the following minimum entry requirements:-

A Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE 'O'Level with Credits in five(5) Subjects, including English and Mathematics at a maximum of two sittings.

A Grade 11 Teacher's Certificate (T.C.11) with five (5) Credits or Merits, in 5 (Five) subjects including English and Mathematics.

For Pre- NCE Programme, a minimum of three(3) or four(4) Credit passes SSCE,WAEC,NECO, NABTEB or GCE 'O'Level is required.

A. SCHOOL OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION
1. AUTOMOBILE TECHNOLOGY
Five SSCE Credit passes and its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics and at least two of the following relevant subjects:- Physics, Auto Mechanics, Technical Drawing & Metal Work.
2. BUILDING & ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY
Five SSCE Credit passes and its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics and at least two of the following relevant subjects:- Building Construction, Technical Drawing and Wood Work.
3. ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS
Five SSCE Credit passes & its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics and at least two of the following relevant subjects:- Physics, Basic Electronics, Applied Electricity, Chemistry and Technical Drawing

B. SCHOOL OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
1. BUSINESS EDUCATION
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and any Three of the following:- Economics, Accounting, Business Method, Government, Statistics & Commerce..
2. AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION
Five SSCE Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Biology and any other Science subject

C. SCHOOL OF SCIENCES
1. BIOLOGY/CHEMISTRY
Five SSCE Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and other Science subject.
2. BIOLOGY/INTEGRATED SCIENCE
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any other Science subject.
3. BIOLOGY/MATHEMATICS
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two science subjects.
4. BIOLOGY/COMPUTER SCIENCE
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Integrated Science and any other Science subject.
5. CHEMISTRY/PHYSICS
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and any other Science subject.
6. CHEMISTRY/MATHEMATICS
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and any other two science subjects.
7. CHEMISTRY/COMPUTER SCIENCE
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and any other Science subject.
8. CHEMISTRY/INTEGRATED SCIENCE
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any Three of the following:- Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics and General Science.
9. COMPUTER SCIENCE/MATHEMATICS
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two science subjects.
10. COMPUTER SCIENCE/ PHYSICS
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two science subjects.
11. COMPUTER SCIENCE/INTEGRATED SCIENCE
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and any other Science subject.
12. MATHEMATICS/INTEGRATED SCIENCE
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any Three of the following:- Biology, Agricultural Science. Chemistry, Physics and General Science.
12. MATHEMATICS/PHYSICS
Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and two other Science subjects.
